KURDISTAN: SIDE A

Kurdistan: Side A is a collection of images on film during my stay in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan in August, 2017. In contrast to my digital images of the same time period, the images captured on film were not only fewer, but more precise in their kismet. Fleeting moments - in the back of a taxi, walking down the street, or through the market. With each press of the shutter a prayer was said that the scene would be remembered.
