Savannah fortis
— podcast producer, host, and audio artist turning sounds into stories —

ABOUT Me
I’ve told stories everywhere — from the deck of a cargo ship crossing the Black Sea to chaotic press rooms, and done so using everything from tape decks and field mics. My work moves between narrative podcasting and experimental sound, and is always rooted in curiosity.
Currently I lead podcasts at Cointelegraph, where I host and produce a narrative news series that breaks down the biggest news stories in the complex world of crypto and decentralized tech into something you actually want to listen to with insights from the experts. I’ve interviewed everyone from Senators to CEO and cyberpunks. I also oversee the smooth production/publication of all other audio content on the site.
I also host my own experimental podcast, “Music on the Move” that explores the world through sound and music. We’re about to launch a mini-series that focuses specifically on sound called, “The Sound of Everything.”
You’ll find me slowly, quietly chipping away at my own music on old Elgam synthesizers, mini KORGS, acoustic guitars, and my ol’ voice.
You’ll slowly start to hear it scattered in podcast episodes and around the internet as I become braver to share it.
Overall, I like audio that feels lived-in: unpolished, immersive, unexpected.
I follow the sound until it starts to speak.
